Rice University, Houston Chapter

Volunteers from the Rice University Butterfly Books chapter and the broader university community joined forces to visit the Rise School of Houston, an institution serving students with developmental delays and disabilities. The team also facilitated an interactive read-aloud and craft activity!

During the Krafts for Kids Butterfly Books event held at Rice University, our team worked with college volunteers to make tote bags, flower-pressed bookmarks, and handwritten cards for kids in need. In total, over 15 students contributed to the event!
